Catalyst Grade Resin

The chemistry of acidic functional groups bound to the polymeric matrix is essentially unchanged from that

exhibited by free mineral acids in homogenous catalysis. Ion exchange resin offers a means to achieve the

equivalent of acid catalysis with a material, which is immiscible and therefore easily separated from the product.

TULSION® T-63 MP is a catalyst grade strong acid cation exchange resin. It allows rapid diffusion of reactants into

the beads by virtue of its large pore size. The high surface area of TULSION® T-63 MP enables large number of

surface catalytic sites accessible for reaction. This helps faster and better catalytic activity. It has excellent

mechanical sturdiness, attrition resistance and higher tolerance towards temperature, oxidants and solvents.

TULSION® T-63 MP can also be used to remove water from some specific process solutions.
